One payment buys a licence to run QuillKey 1 on up to three Macs you use yourself. Every 1.x update is included, for ever. If a version 2 ever ships, it will be a separate paid upgrade; your version 1 keeps working either way.
A licence is a signed key. Your Mac checks the signature itself, with no server involved: no activation calls, no phoning home, nothing that stops working when the internet is off or this website is gone. Software you bought should run on a plane, in five years, without asking anyone's permission.
Every download starts a fourteen day trial with everything switched on. No card, no account. When it ends, the app asks for a key and otherwise leaves your data alone.
Some licences are given away rather than sold, to reviewers, testers, and people we simply want to have it. A gifted key is identical to a bought one, same rights, same updates.
Don't share your key publicly or resell it. If a key leaks it can be superseded in a future update. QuillKey is provided as is; if it doesn't work for you, email within the trial and don't buy it, or write to us and we'll sort it out.
